About

I am an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate GP with over a decade of experience delivering high-quality patient care across a diverse range of settings, including urgent treatment centres, digital healthcare, out-of-hours services, and traditional face-to-face general practice. I am passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to take charge of their own health throughout their lifetime. My particular areas of interest include mental health and neurodiversity.

I thrive in collaborative, supportive team environments where optimal patient care and staff wellbeing are the top priorities. Committed to continuous professional development, I embrace challenges and actively seek new opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge.

Experience

Locum GP at London and South East (2017-03 – Present)

I have been working as a locum GP both in person and remotely across a wide range of practices in London, Essex, Kent, and Devon for the last 8 years. The flexibility and diversity of locum work has allowed me to balance home life with two children whilst continuing to refine my clinical skills and knowledge across multiple UK locations. I have experience working in both affluent and deprived areas and am equally comfortable with both.

In particular, I am well versed in consulting with patients who speak English as a second language and am comfortable consulting using interpreter services.

GP Lead in Urgent Treatment centre at UCH, London (2014-01 – 2017-03)

I served as the GP Clinical Lead for almost two years, acting as a liaison between GP staff and consultant ED teams. In this role, I addressed operational issues, facilitated communication, and ensured efficient patient care. I successfully transitioned the role to a colleague when I took maternity leave in September 2015.
