- Conducting full analysis/Investigations on all types of entities from Low to High-Risk
- Investigate the entity type and collect the documents from public search and internal data base
- Analyzing the entity type maintained by the Bank and Global standards
- Performing review for high-risk cases also. Conduct due diligence inquiries on firms and organizations suspected of money laundering crimes and terrorist financing crimes, utilizing research and analysis of public records and commercial databases

- Responsible for performing timely investigations with well-reasoned and supported decision making- Conduct research over available Bank systems, the internet and databases consistent with the resolution of investigations
- Identifying and reviewing suspicious activities by ensuring all Group Standards of conduct are followed, so as to protect and enhance the reputation of Standard Chartered Bank with the regulators and avoiding significant loss
- To verify and validate the customer's identity; understand and test the customer's profile, business and account activity; identify relevant adverse information and risk assess the potential for money laundering /terrorist financing to support actionable decisions to mitigate against financial, regulatory and reputation risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Help management by conducting quality assurance reviews of case files, tracking logs and various AML processes via PPP samples

- Escalate queries with business lines regarding source of funds, customer's background, transaction activity and recommend relationship retention or termination, and track account closures as required
