Currently working as a Logistics Manager for DC 8 & 9 Bldg.
- Coordinate the operational slots for the material hoist, mobile crane, and gate entry crane
- Plan daily material shifting activities for all vendors and allocate timing slots to ensure smooth project material movement
- Collect delivery information from vendors 2 days in advance to map out daily time slots based on their assigned floors
- Arrange timing slots on a FIFO (First Informed, First Priority) basis
- Ensure the material hoist operator only shifts materials after the gate entry process is fully completed
- Plan material shifting slots based on information received via email and the DC 8 & 9 Logistics WhatsApp group
- Gather material delivery details 2 days in advance to plan crane availability accordingly
- Strictly instruct all gate security personnel not to allow any delivery vehicle to enter the site without prior permission from the Logistics Manager
- Ensure vendors present a valid challan for returnable materials, which must be signed and stamped by site security upon exit
- Direct security to log all unloaded materials manually in the register, stamp the gate entry for confirmation, and process the paperwork for subsequent Material Inspection Reports (MIR) and billing
- Verify the quality, quantity, and supporting documentation (e.g., challans, invoices, packing lists, test certificates, and gate passes) for all incoming vendor materials
- Conduct site visits for new vendors to explain the site logistics plan and guide them through a physical walkthrough from the ground floor to their respective working floors
- Coordinate with vendor labor and supervisors to guide them on material lifting and shifting procedures, including the arrangement of signalmen and flagmen
- Instruct all teams to secure mandatory safety permits before commencing any lifting and shifting activities
- Ensure lifting belts, wire rope slings, and D-shackles are strictly utilized for loading and unloading
- Guide vendors to shift their material accessories directly to their designated floor warehouses or secure store areas
- Enforce safe material packaging standards to prevent damage during loading and unloading activities
- Monitor gate entries closely to maintain strict control over material inventory on site
- Manage site space effectively for temporary vendor material stacking and smooth vehicle movement
- Plan and design structures to minimize material waste and maximize future component disassembly
- Sort debris at the site into specific streams like concrete, bricks, steel, wood, and plastic
- Crush and wash concrete and masonry into recycled aggregates or sand, and route metals or glass to specialized recycling units
- Transport non-recyclable residues safely to designated facilities
