I have been involved in the development and implementation of the "Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises," a centrally sponsored Scheme of the GOI launched under the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant India) Initiative, for the past two years.

I worked briefly on the development of management information systems (MIS) to disseminate and collect information from the entire value chain and create a knowledge database. This information, in the form of data, was cleaned, analyzed, and interpreted in order to develop long-term solutions to contemporary problems. Liaison with a Technical team of a Software development MNC was required.

During the development of Phase 1 of the MIS, the project management skills developed at Cavinkare Pvt Ltd were applied and enhanced further.

My primary research interest was monitoring and evaluation, as well as district resource person management. According to the data, technical interventions to improve the efficiency of the State and District bodies were curated. Later, I joined the Operations/Credit linked team to focus solely on increasing India's target achievement percentages. The root causes of the problems were identified, and corrective actions were recommended to project management units across India.

Product development knowledge gained while working as a Research Scientist in Cavinkare Pvt Ltd, an FMCG company, has enabled me to be a proactive resource throughout the year, providing valuable inputs to the Entrepreneurs developed in terms of new product development insights, sensory feedback, and standards of the Additives and other ingredients. Understanding the Food Processing technologies, Machinery and Value added products, Detailed Project Reports, their financial figures, and financial projections have always aided me in providing value to Capacity Development teams. I was also involved in the development of training materials and the delivery of training to stakeholders.

The current job role is mostly aligned with the work I've done and the skills gained at the Central Ministry level and in previous organizations will help me be very resourceful in the next role.
