In my current capacity, I serve as Head of service sales at Siemens Gamesa. This role Encompasses Developing and implementing comprehensive business strategies to achieve organizational objectives and enhance overall performance (De-risking & Limiting Liabilities) & profitability.

In My previous Positions in Siemens Energy India for ~13 years, I served for different positions starting from Primary Engineering of HVDC & Facts, Leading eBoP sales -India & Export, Heading Business Development & Strategy for Transmission Switchgear. My key achievements were my engagement with government authorities like MoP, DPIIT, CEA, MoC, MoF, NIWE, SECI, MNRE etc with IEEMA for framing/ Amending changes in the draft Regulations/ Orders like Make in India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Type test, Standard Specification under “One Nation One Specification” and its proper Implementation in Utilities.

I also served for a period of two years in Hyosung Corporation, Korea, in establishing Footprint in Indian Industries & IPP and bagging order under “Make in India” initiative for Indian newly established Factory.

Major Achievements:

• Engaged with government and private utilities, industries, oil & gas, railways, and metro sectors to market cloud-based digital products.
• Raised awareness among utilities about alternatives to SF6 gas in the switchgear industry.
• Successfully secured approvals for technical deviations from utilities, even post-contract award.
• Collaborated closely with DPIIT, MoP, MoF, CEA, SECI, NIWE, MoEF, and IEEMA to influence and drive changes in regulations and orders, including initiatives like "Make in India," type testing, and the “One Nation, One Specification” standard.
• Engaged with NIWE, MNRE, and SECI to explore opportunities in the offshore wind market in India, focusing on the potential for transmission products.
• Implemented the “Preference to Make in India” initiative across various utilities, with active support from MoP and CEA.
• Successfully advocated for and standardized the inclusion of our products in the specifications of various state and central utilities.
• Led and supported the sales team to consistently exceed sales targets in every financial year.

Period : Since June’2015 to August’ 2017.

Major Achievements:

• Established Hyosung Korea foot print in Indian Industry & IPP market for GIS 
• Managed to Bag first order from Indian Power company without involving Indian agent- 400 kV GIS equipment for1x660 MW TANGEDCO Ennore Expansion 
• Managed to bag first NTPC project for Hyosung Korea, creating pathway for Indian Establishment at Pune- 400 kV GIS package for 2x660 MW NTPC Khargone STPP A/c L&T
• Took Personnel initiative managed to convinced Management to support & concluded order for Transformer after a gap of ~5 years- Transformer Package for Bibiyana-III 400 MW CCPP Project, Bangladesh-
• First biggest order for Hyosung India Establishment under Make in India initiative - 765kV/420kV/ 132kV GIS for 3 x 660 MW NLC Ghatampur
