Deliver L2/operations-analyst-level support for business-critical batch processing on IBM Sterling Connect:Direct, Sterling Control Center, Sterling File Gateway, and Sterling B2B Integrator across Windows, Linux, AWS, and containerized environments, resolving configuration, connectivity, file transfer, Secure+, and system-level issues.
Install, configure, and upgrade IBM Connect:Direct, Sterling Control Center, and Sterling File Gateway across Unix, Windows, and containerized deployments, including SFG producer/consumer profiles, templates, routes, and partner configurations.
Perform Connect:Direct node configuration and tuning, including PNODE/SNODE setup, to support reliable cross-platform file transfer between Windows, Linux, and containerized environments.
Configure routing rules, mailboxes, and certificates within Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) to support secure partner file exchange.
Manage the complete SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle (creation, import/export, renewal) and Secure+ configuration across Development, QA, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
Own P1/P2 incident resolution end-to-end, providing 24x7 shift-based on-call support including weekends, diagnosing transfer failures, TCP/IP communication issues, session drops, and configuration mismatches through trace and log analysis to minimize business impact.
Handle minor enhancements and application outages (planned and unplanned), collaborating with L3 teams on defect analysis, trace-level debugging, and long-term stability improvements.
Work directly with business users and cross-functional/multi-vendor teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical changes; independently manage end-to-end customer issues.
Prepare RCA and SOP documentation, deliver knowledge transfer sessions, and support onboarding of new team members, demonstrating leadership on the support floor.
