Mathis Falla

I'm a recent graduate in Chemical and Sustinable Processes Engineering. I'm keen on the chemical sector and, as chemical engineer, I'm really interested in all the unit operations that turn the raw material into the finished product. I'm hungry for knowledge and I'm really looking forward having the opportunity to put into practice everything that I've studied in these years at university.

Thanks to my previous internship at Lavazza Group, as Food & Pack Supplier Quality Intern, I had the opportunity to start to learn a little bit more about the industrial field and this job would be a great opportunity for me to develop and demonstrate my knowledge and skills and to learn a lot.

As Supplier Quality Food & Pack Intern for the worldwide leader in the coffee production, I liaised directly with the packaging and food suppliers. As part of the Supplier Quality Assurance team, I was tasked to review the packaging technical specifications and help with the analysis and resolutions of various supply problems, included the handling of materials nonconformities. The goal was the continuous improvement of the supply chain, with focus on food contact packaging production methods. This experience has been beneficial in improving my communication skills and has allowed me to interact with various departments inside the organization.
