Responsible for conducting research about RDA rules and setting the Lebanese National Library's (LNL) policies and practices of RDA. Responsible for the Authority File Names and setting LNL's policy and practices of creating an Authority File Name. Cataloging different items such as books, electronic resources and other items.

• Cataloging Specialist, Lebanese National Library- July 2009 to Present:
  • Organizing and evaluating the new update of the library system "Berytos": 
    • Updating the library’s interface to Marc 21 interface and to be compatible with RDA rules.
  • Cataloging library's materials, including books, rare books, electronic resources, braille, three dimensional books, toy and movable books, kits, maps and other materials.
• Charge on RDA since 2013:
• Conducting research about RDA rules and libraries' practices in this regard.
• Adapting RDA rules to conform to the cataloging of Arabic Language materials.
• Setting the LN Library's policies and practices for all library materials in line with the international ones.
• Training the cataloging team on the application of these rules.
• Developing and updating the library policies in line with continuous RDA updates, which are all documented in a guide.
• Charge on Authority File for Names & Corporate bodies.
• Proof-reading the Arabic Personal Names Headings Database and creating authority files in line with the library's practice and international standards, after which it became available via VIAF (Virtual International Authority Name). 
• Creating new Authority File Names.
• Updating the database according to RDA rules.
• Setting the cataloging policy for the Authority Files (including the personal names and corporate bodies) according to RDA rules.
• Training the team on creating the authority file names.
• Charge on sending new Authority File Names to VIAF (Virtual International Authority Name) since 2013.
• Setting the cataloging policy for Syriac books and its Romanization.
• Setting the cataloging policy for Manuscripts and Rare books according to RDA.
• Working with the team on establishing Arabic Subject Headings of the Lebanese National Library.
• Participating in training new members.
• Participated in planning exhibitions and in selecting materials for display for exhibitions.
• Participating in moving the library's collection from its temporary location at the Port of Beirut to its new permanent location, which included:
  • Setting the policy for a smooth move.
  • Packaging the entire collection.
  • De-packaging on the new shelves.
  • Documenting the entire process. 
  • Charge on organizing the Periodical stack.
• Assisting the users with their inquiries after the library opened its doors to public.
• Provided reference materials for researchers, professors, students and the general public.
• Assisted patrons with locating books on shelves.
