Project Geologist at Prime Mining Corp. (2019 – 2026-04)
Throughout my time at this company, I contributed to multiple stages of the "Los Reyes" project. Initially, I was responsible for planning and executing trench and historical mine workings sampling, logging and mapping, as well as collecting soil samples. Later, I became involved in both diamond and RC drilling campaigns with drill holes planning and control assisting core logging including oriented core alignments and measurements and collecting and processing TerraSpec and MagSus data.
Most recently, I served as Database Assistant, contributing to database management, QA/QC protocol implementation and monitoring, and supporting the migration to a new database system. This included organizing and structuring datasets, creating and updating tables, and validating data quality, consistency, and integrity. In addition, I supervised employees and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, further developing my leadership and teamwork skills.
I consistently prioritized safety and maintained strong relationships with the local community.
General Manager at CEILY Comercial (2017 – 2019)
Started as a retail sales associate and was later promoted to General Manager, overseeing multiple store inventories and overall sales operations. Additionally, I gained experience in real estate sales and worked as a construction supervisor. During my time at CEILY Comercial, I developed strong skills in sales, client relations, and team management.
Internship at GRUPO CALIDRA (2017 – 2017)
During this internship, I had the opportunity to gain an overview of an ongoing open-pit mining operation by learning from and working with the production and milling teams. I participated in blasting, drilling, sampling, and maintenance activities, always prioritizing safety while supporting the company's operational goals. Additionally, I assisted in compiling and reviewing mine's total production costs, which provided valuable insight into the activities, processes, and hidden costs involved in running a production-scale mining operation.
