My PhD project consisted of investigating the role of Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILC) in the context of Graft-versus-Host Disease (GvHD). GvHD is a side effect of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. In this project, we sort purified cell populations of interest and analyzed the viability, activation, proliferation and cytokine production. This project will capture the beneficial role of ILC in tissue protection of GvHD patients.
