Account Manager – Upper South Island, Delegat Ltd
Time in position: 3 years and 10 months, October 2019 – present.
Key Responsibilities: Grow and maintain a database of prospective and active customers for the Oyster Bay, Delegat and Barossa Valley Estate wine brands whilst working in an autonomous environment, with the National Sales Office in Auckland. Maintain an average call rate of 35 customer appointments per week, keeping detailed records of each customer engagement in our CRM programme along with striving to achieve sales targets across grocery, on-premise and retail channels.
Key Account Experience: Managing the FreshChoice and SuperValue Key Account relationship. Currently taking over Trents Wholesale.
Time in position: 1 year, September 2015 – September 2016
Key Responsibilities: Assisting the business manager and dealing with general business banking customer enquiries. This includes managing a large set of customers and setting up ‘new to bank’ customers in the system. The opening of accounts and terms deposits, ordering bank cards, international money transfers, processing credit card applications, internet banking set-up, loan documentation and liaison with lawyers and mortgage brokers.
Processing and applying account overdrafts and excesses, fixed rate reviews and running new and existing customer meetings.
Time in position: 4.5 years, August 2010 – January 2015, then on maternity leave until August 2015.
Key Responsibilities: Grow and maintain an active database of purchasing and prospective customers for the Oyster Bay, Delegat and Barossa Valley Estate wine brands whilst working in an autonomous environment, with the National Sales Office in Auckland. Maintain an average call rate of 40 customer appointments per week in my territory. Keep detailed records of each customer appointment and outcomes. Proven track record of achieving sales targets across grocery, on-premise and retail channels.
Manage the Four Square South Island and Henry’s – Beer Wine Spirits Key Account Relationships including the submission of all promotional activity and spend for these key purchasing groups.
Time in position: 2.5 years, October 2007 – April 2010
Key Responsibilities: Seek and target new corporate business opportunities in Auckland and Christchurch areas which will grow the Villa Maria profile and generate profitable sales of Villa Maria Group wines.
Promote Villa Maria Auckland winery and vineyard as a venue for corporate events to our national corporate database and utilize new business relationships to assist the events team with new function bookings.
Attend corporate events where Villa Maria wines are showcased, speaking to groups, promoting wines and representing the brands.
Time in position: 1.6 years, January 2006 – September 2007.
Key responsibilities: To assist the Marketing and Sales teams advertising and point of sale requirements.
Re-branding
Time in position: 9 months, April 2005 – December 2005.
Spacewalker was a new era in walk-through experiential attractions, consisting of a series of spectacular high tech, space themed special effects environments, designed to simulate a journey through the Cosmos via a futuristic space station which orbits out near the centre of the Milky Way.
Infinity is a mind-blowing journey into spectacular, futuristic maze-like worlds of wonder - an extraordinary series of around 20 multi-sensual environments filled with unique special effects, atmospheric sound fields, ultra groovy music and illusions that appear to go all the way to infinity.
