I currently work 10 hours a week so hoping to find somewhere i an work around this job. (Wed-Fri = 3:00pm-6:00pm, Saturday = 8:30am-12pm)

Retail Assistant at Torpedo 7 (2022-02 – 2026-04)

Initiated career in 2022, progressing from part-time roles to assistant manager position.

• Greeted customers warmly, ensuring welcoming atmosphere upon store entry.
• Processed payments efficiently using cash register, credit card machine, and POS system.
• Maintained stock levels by replenishing shelves, organizing merchandise, and tidying displays.
• Answered incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to appropriate departments.

Outdoor Assistant at Taranaki Outdoor Pursuits and Education Centre (2022-01 – 2022-12)

Part time job (3 days per week.)

• I facilitated outdoor education activities for groups of up to 10 students. Aged between 5 - 18 years old.
• I demonstrated appropriate safety measures during all outdoor activities, such as checking group gear before/after use, safety talks before activities, and being aware of hazards in our surroundings.
• I helped and instructed students in the fundamentals of camping, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, abseiling and other related activities.
• I developed lesson plans for my own groups, or assisted other lesson plans, that incorporated creative ways to teach different concepts in the outdoors.

Lifeguard at Todd Energy Aquatic Centre (2021-02 – 2022-11)

• Responded promptly to emergencies.
• Monitored pool activities to ensure safety and adherence to regulations.
• Maintained cleanliness of pool area, staff room and changing rooms to ensuring hygiene standards were upheld consistently.
• Using radios to communicate effectively with fellow lifeguards on duty.
• Operate small activities for recreational swimmers to enjoy, while ensuring lane swimmers were not interrupted.
• Towel washing / dryed was done on a daily basis for our swim school team and lifeguards doing training.
