I have dual citizenship, canadian and filipino .I hold Canadian COC 2nd class marine from transport canada and Chief Engr and 2nd Engineer license from Marina (Philippines ). I also have 3rd class power engineering ticket from Safety BC
(Canada).I am currently employed as a regular first marine engineer at BC Ferries Tsawwassen Terminal and is working with the company since September 2016 until present.
Moreover, I simultaneously worked as a College Instructor at BCIT Canada in 2021-2022,I worked as a Chief Engineer at V2V Vacations in Canada the whole year of 2019. Had different field of power engineering jobs in Vancouver Canada in building operations, power plants and breweries from 2020-2021
In the Philippines, I gained a solid 10 years engineering experience as an Engineer worldwide under Asahi and Fairmont Fleet of Magsaysay Maritime Corp. I have been in-charged in the operations and maintenance of different vessel’s boilers, steam turbines, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, aux. power engines and main engines including all pumps ranging from product and oil tanker vessels, general cargo, wood chips, salt carrier and bulk vessels. I also have experience in vessel's dry dock works in Japan,Singapore,Portugal and Canada. I have expertise in administrative works, teaching and training groups of people, leading and accomplishing projects. I am an excellent planner and computer literate.
I am confident that my skills and expertise acquired both in shipboard experiences, office works and in my trainings and familiarization in BC Ferries Standards and Procedures would be an asset to your company.
