Thirty-one (31) years of proactive IT work experience with the International School Manila community providing technical support in (educational) information technology.
For the last 31 years in ISM, I have held senior IT Tech support roles - I was the administrator for the Active Directory setup of ISM. I was responsible for enterprise software deployment and management; in charge of Technical support for HS Robotics; administrator for ISM’s Adobe Cloud and NWEA (MAP) Testing services and on an overseas level, was Technical Coordinator for the school's ACT online Testing system (non-US).
I believe my background in technology and working with staff and children of all ages in a school environment will provide value for any organization by adding a unique perspective.
Provided day-to-day IT Tech Support for the entire ISM community comprising 300+ Faculty/Staff and 2,500+ students with particular focus on the following responsibilities:
Taught, assisted and supervised Middle School faculty,staff and students in the use of computer facilities and software.
Provided lead IT Tech support for Middle School faculty in the assessment, selection and learning of educational software for classroom use.
Planned, developed and implemented an efficient classroom management system for computer laboratory use in the Middle School.
Summer School Teacher
Taught computer Logo and enrichment courses during summer in the Elementary School.
Computer data entry clerk and database programmer for the Registrar's office.Co-developed the computerization system for the college.
Substitute teacher in computer literacy and enrichment courses for grades K-12.Including Advanced and IB courses in computing.
Television and Radio Production Student Internship at Philippine government-owned PTV-Channel 4 as part of the academic and KBP requirements for the completion of B.A. in Mass Communications.
Part-time instructor in computer science in the evening and weekends. Part-time computer laboratory assistant on weekdays.
Print Media Student Internship at MOD Magazine, Atlas Publishing Company as part of the academic requirement for the completion of B.A. in Mass Communications.
