- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot the problem areas as required.
- Oversee network traffic along with WAN and LAN.
- Address and solve system failures to increase network uptime.
- Design and install high-functioning computer network connections including cabling.
JUNIOR NETWORK MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN: FIBER OPTIC - SAUDI TELECOM

- Designing and installing well-functioning computer networks, connection and cabling.
- Performing troubleshooting and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network.
- Fiber cable splicing using Fusion Machine.
- Testing the physical status of fiber optic using Optical Time-domain Reflectometer (OTDR), Power Meter, Visual Fault Identifier (VFI).

- Perform installation, trouble shooting and repair of ADSL and VDSL up to end including the loading of the software on the PC and setting up Email, web browsing.
- Utilize appropriate test equipment for trouble shooting POTS, ADSL and VDSL.
- Perform basic splicing.
- Interact with work forces to coordinate and disseminate information to complete job assignments and with other sections to attain Company service objectives.
- Have working computer knowledge in a Windows based environment, show that you can log on, log off, use windows, and get job assignments, sign off jobs.
- Determines routing and placement of cabling, wiring.
- Performs physical installation wiring, cabling, telephone instrument.
- Responds to trouble reports, performs trouble shooting activities and repairs/replaces malfunctioning facilities.
