Testing of IT Equipment such as Desktop PCs, Laptops, Servers, Display Monitors, etc.
Auditing of equipment and entry of asset number, serial number, brand name/model, RAM capacity, drive size/type/capacity, CPU, GPU, and status to our excel asset recording in Shared Drive.
Tracking of inventory and part numbers of IT equipment.
Removing servers and network equipment from server racks.
Data wipe and/or data destruction (degaussing) of hard drives and media storage.

Desktop Support Engineer

Provide IT support onsite to user’s location and to those walk-in end users at IT Solution Center.
Set-up and install new computing hardware and software; setting up accounts for new user.
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, and applications.
Create and handle service request and incident tickets using the ServiceNow platform.
Perform PC inventory, and conduct survey tasks on equipment use for Zoom communications.
Deployment of Laptop and Desktop PCs to newly hire users, creating temporary password for user to login with his/her LAN ID, then afterwards create his/her own permanent password.
Imaging of all asset laptops and desktops using Windows 10 20H2 USB GME Master Image.
Perform unlocking user’s account and unblocking Smart card using my D2 Account.
Attend to user’s laptop BitLocker Recovery blue screen issues, recovering BitLocker recovery 48-digit password from Active Directory.

Reason for leaving: Work status on Client’s ExxonMobil project has ended.

Desktop Support Engineer

Provide IT technical onsite support to end user problems/issues which includes identification, diagnosis, rectification and escalation.
Printer deployment and maintenance.
Perform installation, de-installation, configuration, technical supports, troubleshooting and resolution to the end users.
Perform receiving and collection of new laptops, desktops, and printers at Receiving Bays.
Mass Cloning of newly ordered PCs (Laptop and Desktop computers/ Dell and Lenovo models) using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) latest version.
Install Microsoft Office and other security softwares such as SecureDoc, BitLocker, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Skype for Business, BIOS firmware upgrade to newest version.
Updating BIOS firmware to the latest version for Dell Computers (Laptop and Desktop).
Escalating issues to the client Program Management.
Assist in survey and inventory check of desktop and laptop workstations, including printers from user’s designated locations (offices, front desks, and wards).
Train intern on cloning, preparing, labelling of new laptop and desktop PCs, including renaming or updating Hostnames and join-domain to Active Directory.
