Alyson Blanchette

My name is Alyson Blanchette and I have served in various teaching positions over the past ten years. This career has proved both challenging and rewarding, and in recent months I have realized my desire to bring the experience and qualifications I have to a new career.

Having worked for various school districts all over Texas over the past 10 years, I have been exposed to several aspects of community and customer service. My experience as an Art Teacher with Northside Independent School District, and with Northeast Independent School District for the past seven years demonstrates my capability of working with others through the creative process of production, while meeting the challenges presented to me through creative problem solving. My experience in various teaching roles has allowed me to learn to work with people of all ages, and has provided me with a well-rounded set of skills including leadership, mentorship, creative problem solving, organization, time management, effective communication, financial planning, and project management that I believe would be of the utmost importance when working with any team.

With my background in art and education, I am confident that I would make a very successful and creative team member. I would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about any opportunities ahead of me.

I was a 2nd Grade/Kindergarten/Pre-K Classroom Teacher for 3 years, then completed my Fine Arts Certification and taught 4 years of Elementary Art, and 2 years of Middle School Art.

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2016 with an overall GPA of 3.6
