I’m Alyssa Salcedo, an Agricultural Business student at Fresno State with a passion for ag finance, land management, and community engagement. With experience in investment analysis, project coordination, and hands-on farming, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the ag industry. I'm also a student leader and creative, using photography and social media to highlight agriculture's impact and future.
I have a diverse background in agricultural business, with hands-on experience in finance, investment analysis, student services, and farm management. I’ve supported executive leadership at Fresno State, contributed to agricultural investment projects with PGIM, and assisted in data analysis and project coordination at Community West Bank. My roots in farming operations, paired with a strong foundation in financial modeling and agribusiness strategy, give me a well-rounded perspective on the industry.
Additionally, my leadership roles and outreach efforts reflect my commitment to supporting the future of agriculture through education, media, and community engagement.
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business at California State University, Fresno, with an expected graduation in May 2025 and a current GPA of 3.92. As a student in the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (JCAST), I’ve built a strong foundation in agricultural finance, economics, and business strategy. My academic success is supported by multiple scholarships and awards, including recognition on the President’s and Dean’s Lists, as well as leadership roles in student organizations that promote agriculture and professional development.
