I recently became a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) as I await starting nursing school in mid-2023.
Spent the past 4 years in the Marketing & Advertising industry before making the shift over to healthcare.
Spent the past year (2022) taking the following prerequisites at SUNY Empire and the University of Rochester: A&P 1 with lab, A&P 2 with lab, Chemistry with lab, Microbiology with lab, Psychology, Nutrition, and Statistics. I completed a phlebotomy course through the Technical Institute of America in December 2022. I completed my NHA certification exam in December 2022.
