I've been in the field of ABA since 2011, becoming a BCBA in 2018. I'm passionate about quality ABA and sharing my knowledge. I spent two years working residential treatment for children with severe challenges and spearheaded restraint reduction, decreasing physical restraints from almost 400/month to less than 10/month. I've worked with ages 2-21 and all differing abilities. Knowledgeable in SBT, ACT, and assent based treatment.
Assess clients using assessment tools, create treatment plans, write BIPS, train and supervise staff, multi-company trainer on SBT and assent based training, all ages treatment from 2-21, scheduling, credentialling, payroll, supervising RBT’s, supervising interns, OBM and staff retention, some telehealth provided. One year telehealth services with sister facility in Nevada.
Autism and Trauma residential facility. Implementation of interventions for aggression, property destruction, and Self-Injurious Behaviors, both individual and group interventions. Training staff on appropriate interactions. Increasing staff performance through written plans and training.
Focuses: FCT, Instructional control, AAC Devices (for non-verbal clients), De-escalation methods. Individual behavior plans, PBIS. Collaboration with therapists, psychiatrists, OT/SLP, and school staff. Provide parent/guardian training for reunification.
Autism ABA treatment in home, school, daycare, community, and clinic settings. Assessments using VB-MAPP, Socially Savvy, ABLLS, AFLLS, and Behavioral Observation. Collaborate with Specialists to write and implement treatment plans, analyze data, implement behavioral change programs.
Collaboration with teachers, SLP, OT, and Behavior Therapists. Provided supervision and training to RBT’s, both in-home and seminar. Established fidelity procedures. Provided supervision for potential BCBA’s.
Provided extensive parent training and collaborative efforts for effective behavior change.
