I am a Southern Colorado Native. Married and have 4 boys. I began in construction while in the US Navy (Seabees), and now have 10 years of construction management experience. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Project Management from Colorado State University-Global.
I am a results-driven senior project leader and U.S. Navy Veteran with 10 years of experience delivering multimillion-dollar heavy civil, infrastructure, and public works programs. Currently, as a Senior Project Engineer at SEMA Construction, I lead utility and earthwork operations for the $140M CDOT I-25/US-50 Interchange.
In this role, I manage daily field logistics, subcontractor coordination, and SWMP administration to ensure full compliance with CDOT stormwater regulations while optimizing profitability through Viewpoint cost coding audits.
Previously, I served as the Road and Bridge Program Manager for Pueblo County, where I directed an annual $12M maintenance budget and managed a $25M portfolio of 11 concurrent projects. I earned department-wide trust as the sole non-director staff member collaborating across four divisions to resolve conflicts and integrate oversight. My expertise includes authoring state and federal grants and ensuring FHWA/CDOT compliance through environmental clearances and site inspections.
My professional foundation was built as an Engineering Aide (E-5) in the U.S. Navy (NAVFAC), where I supervised construction and renovation projects under strict military timelines. I also gained experience in facilities management for the State of Colorado, overseeing maintenance planning and contract management.
I hold a B.S. in Project Management from CSU Global and maintain active TECS and TCS certifications. My technical skillset includes AutoCAD, Maximo, and CORE, alongside a proven track record of managing large-scale budgets and diverse stakeholders to drive safety and cost efficiency.
