I am both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and cross-cultural Creative Arts Practitioner based in Los Angeles. I believe that art is a therapeutic modality for expression and healing. Everyone has a different approach to healing and some clients need nonverbal ways to process what they can not say out loud.
Experienced in various settings, including schools, DMH outpatient, and non-profit private practice. Worked with diverse clientele, ranging from children to seniors, couples, families and group therapy. Utilized artistic abilities, creativity, patience, and flexibility while providing an empathetic and client centered approach using art therapy, psychoeducation, and/or talk therapy while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
Provide comprehensive care to clients by collaborating with other members of treatment teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, foster teams, and etc.
