I am a newly graduated registered nurse with the intention of gaining experience and proficiency in emergency room care at a trauma center as well as intensive care experience. I have worked as a license practical nurse for 2 years and 6 months at a skilled nursing facility specialized in the care wtih the elderly population with high morbidity chronic and acute illnesses that included hypertension, COPD, diabetes, infections that involved contact, droplet and airborne precautions etc. I have gained certification in IV therapy as an LPN and been able to start and hang peripheral IV for antibiotic and hydration.
I have interpreted and relayed labs to phsyicains and assited in the are of activities of daily living for short and long term residents. Over my time as an LPN I have gained proficient assessment and critical thinking skills which is critical for nursing care that I would be able to successfully incorporate in my career in the emergency room and ICU at the hospital. I look forward to ongoing education experiences and I enjoy critical thinking and high intense patient care experiences.

I have interpreted and relayed labs to physicians and assisted in the are of activities of daily living for short- and long-term residents as well as worked closely with dialysis patients and familiarizing myself with fistulas and permcaths along with the assessment of its components. Over my time as an LPN I have gained proficient assessment and critical thinking skills which is critical for nursing care that I would be able to successfully incorporate in my career in the emergency room and ICU at the hospital. I look forward to ongoing education experiences and I enjoy critical thinking and high intense patient care experiences.
