My name is April. I have a special interest in working with children with special needs. I have been working with children who have ASD for about 9 years. I’ve worked 1:1 with children with ASD in clinic, school and home settings.
I have been a behavior therapist for 9 years total. I’ve worked at Spears Learning Center; where I working with various children (verbal/non-verbal) in the clinic and home setting. I have experience with communication devices as well as PECS.
I am currently a nursing student. I’ve completed a Medical assistant program some years ago. I graduated from high school in 2006.
