Arjun Bharadwaj

I’m a junior Computer Science major at the University of Maryland, pursuing the Machine Learning track. I am passionate about building intelligent, full-stack systems that solve real-world problems. I’ve developed hands-on experience through projects like a full-stack event-planning platform built with Django, React, and SQLite, and by working with technologies such as FastAPI, pgvector, and AWS.

Beyond software development, I enjoy applying data analytics and AI tools to uncover insights and improve efficiency. I’m AWS Cloud Practitioner certified, detail-oriented, and always eager to learn new technologies that connect data, design, and engineering. My goal is to grow as a software engineer and contribute to projects that blend innovation, reliability, and real-world impact.

I’ve gained professional experience through developing full-stack applications and working on data-driven projects that combine software engineering and analytics. I built a Django and React-based event planning platform hosted on AWS, and have worked extensively with SQLite, FastAPI, and pgvector for database and API development.

I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park, with a focus on the Machine Learning track. My coursework has strengthened my skills in algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. I’ve also completed related courses in databases, systems programming, and technical writing, giving me a strong foundation in both the technical and communication skills needed for engineering and data-focused roles.
