Zhicheng Liang

My name is Zhicheng (Jason) Liang. I obtained my PhD degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is ready to start immediately.

I am well trained to be capable of working on projects independently and meanwhile a good team player and collaborator. I have a good understanding of data structures, algorithms and other computer science fundamentals. I am also a life-long learner and quick learner. I think all these skills above will ensure my success at your company.

During my PhD study, I have been a research assistant for 6+ years working on machine learning and software development intensive research projects, in which I accumulated skills of machine learning/deep learning algorithms, web development, databases and also communication and collaboration. I also had four productive internships with the industry.

Currently I am a software engineer at American Bear Logistic Corp. I am responsible for creating software solutions for automating transloading workflows to improve operational efficiency, e.g. developing mobile apps using Microsoft Power Apps for warehouse and cargo data management. During my PhD study, I have had four productive internships with the industry, such as IBM Research, Zhuiyi Technology, which is a famous natural language processing focused AI company in China, and also Franz Inc., which create the AllegroGraph database.

I obtained my PhD degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, United States. My research topics for my PhD include machine learning, natural language processing, and knowledge graph.
