With my experience in customer service and education, I have learned the inner workings of the healthcare system and believe I am right for the job. During my time in customer service, I learned the importance of teamwork, communication, and organization in maintaining a functioning work environment. In my CMAA training, I have utilized these skills and learned how to assist healthcare providers in an administrative role. These skills and knowledge will help me better assist patients and the healthcare providers to the best of my ability.
In 2022, I attended a Medical Administrative Assistant course from the University of North Georgia. This course thoroughly prepared me for receiving patients, accurately entering patient data, adhering to HIPAA laws, and taking patient vitals signs.
