Austin Smith

I am a first generation, full-time college student in my senior year at the Williamson College of Business Administration in Youngstown State University. In 2022, I was awarded the Kerola Family Business Scholarship, and most recently I made deans list for the Fall 2024 semester at YSU. I am majoring Human Resources Management where I am the secretary for the student chapter of SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management)and I am expecting to graduate in May 2026.

Over the summer of 2025, I worked as a Human Resources Intern for Heritage Cooperative where I assist employee onboarding, manage employee records with accuracy and confidentiality, handle employee relations, and assist with projects in all locations. Currently, I am also studying for the SHRM-CP exam
