Hello there! I'm Aydyn but I prefer to go by Rosie. I'm a HUGE animal lover and very passionate about taking care of any that I own or work around. I graduated from the Agriscience program at Suffield High School in 2022 at which I took both small and large animal science classes as well as Breeding and Genetics, Ag Business, Vet Science I and II, Production Animal Science and Animal Behavior and Training.

I've owned or worked around animals all my life. From rabbits and hamsters to goats, cows, sheep and horses. Now that I've done a little bit of everything, I've decided to stick with dogs as my animal to mainly work with.

It's the most fulfilling and makes me the happiest. Eventually, I'd like to manage or own a camp/kennel of my own or be an professional trainer!

Kennel Attendant/Receptionist/Daycare Attendant at Candlewick Kennels (2025-09 – 2026-07)

Worked as a kennel attendant, receptionist, and daycare attendant managing kennel duties, customer service, and dog daycare supervision.

• Prep meals, clean all kennels in my section everyday, clean cattery and feed cats, wash dishes, fill waters, clean up poop/pee/vomit
• Make front desk aware of any abnormal stool, urine, vomit or other health concerns
• Work with food/dog/kennel aggressive or leash reactive dogs
• Bring boarding daycare dogs down to daycare yard, do playtimes and take photos for pet parents
• Lots of snuggles!!
• Occasional medication administration except for anything injectable as we did not allow it
• Monitor the play yard with small, medium and large doge, clean yards/mop buckets/play equipment, refill water bowls as needed

Served as Camp Counselor and Team Lead managing up to 25 dogs in play yards, performing grooming duties, medication administration, staff training, and customer service.

• Monitor up to 25 dogs in 1 play yard
• Make sure no dogs are humping, playing too rough, bleeding, throwing up, fighting, etc.
• Clean play yards
• Bathe dogs, trim nails, clean teeth and ears but try to go at the pup's pace
• Prepare food and feed dogs
• Administer medication
• Constantly work on commands with dogs in the yards
• Both open and close the entire camp
• Check dogs in along with any enrichments, grooming, etc.
• Answer any questions or concerns from pet parents
• Set up the cabins for overnight dogs

• Keep an eye on inventory and communicate with the manager when something is needed
• Gate management so dogs don't escape the play yards but understand to stay in when the gate is open for a singular dog to leave

• Continuously learn how to read dogs' body language with both people and other dogs
