I worked as a Dietetic Clerk for five years including the entirety of COVID-19 pandemic where my interest in career changed from nutrition to public health. I simultaneously completed my Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Science and subsequently entered a Masters of Public Health program where I interned with the California Department for Public Health. Once completed, I was contracted by a non-profit, Club Stride, Inc., where I worked closely with other public health professionals to submit a comprehensive report on transportation equity with a focus on youth for the California Air Resources Board. I am excited to continue my transition into the public health world and continue contributing to large scale changes in the communities of Los Angeles.
