Aspiring public health professional, currently working as Program Coordinator at Kids in Need of Defense Boston. Looking to find roles that emphasize health equity, social justice and collaboration. I began my professional career as a contact tracer, then case investigator for UNC Charlotte’s contact tracing team. Afterwards I was accepted to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Public Health Associate Program, a post graduate training opportunity. As part of this program, I worked at nonprofit hospital Mt.
Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT supporting multiple community health efforts. Currently, I am the Program Coordinator for Kids in Need of Defense‘s Boston office, where I support the legal team in administrative tasks.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2021 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.
