- Assist the Center Manager in the implementation of the approved Head Start operating procedures at the center level which are designed to meet the established initial, intermediate, and long-term program goals related to the delivery of services.
- Assist the Center Manager in the communication system that was developed with input from the policy council, Director of Early Education ad Care and program staff, which ensures the timely dissemination of information to the director of Early Education and Care, the Child Services Specialist, Program Managers, Center Managers, Family Support Advocates, teaching staff, parents and other community organizations.
- Participate bi-monthly meeting with the center staff to review policies procedures and their implementation.
- Participates in monthly meeting with the Head Start Management Team to ensure the coordination of all services and to ensure timely communication.
- Participates in monthly meeting with the Child Care Specialists and Program Managers to ensure the coordination of services and to ensure that there is regular communication.
- Participates in monthly Parent Committee meeting assisting the facilitation of these meeting and assisting parent in establishing and achieving program goals as well as committee goals.
- Assist in the implementation of record keeping and reporting systems as it relates to the Child Care Program's Policies and procedures, Child Health, nutrition and safety policies and procedures and Family and Community Partnership policies and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of center budgets ensuring compliance with fiscal policies and procedures.
- Assists the Center Manager in the preparation of monthly reports for the Director of Early Education and Care summarizing items related to performance standards compliance, program outcomes and other pertinent information.
- Assist in the role and responsibilities of the director in their absence completing CACFP, ULTIPRO time management of employees etc.
