Blanche Haddad

I am a front-end software developer who studied JavaScript and React at the Turing School of Software & Design. Currently working on Closet Manager, an app that helps users stay on top of their clothing inventory!

Before my time at Turing, I attended university in New York City studying Talmud and Jewish law, where I used my perseverance to grapple with ancient Aramaic texts. I also worked as a caterer in Manhattan where I practiced building community and connection. Finally, in the non-profit sector I learned how to learn new databases and systems quickly.

Now at Turing, I use my ability to persevere to avoid discouragement and relentlessly try until my code runs. I use my empathy and ability to connect with others to help foster a sense of community among my peers, while adapting to learning in a fast-paced environment. I am looking forward to continuing to leverage each of these skills and strengths as I move into the industry as a software engineer!

During my down time I really enjoy indoor bouldering, doing yoga, running races, making mac and cheese, and swimming. I'm looking for new opportunities as a front-end developer and would love to connect with industry professionals with a passion for equity!
