I have 18 years of experience in education and three years of experience in social service. My Illinois endorsements include LBS1, Middle School Math, School Counseling, and I am finishing up my internship for the Principal Preparation (2nd M.A.) in April from Concordia University. While I have not held the title of Assistant Principal, over the years I have been given the responsibilities of an assistant principal.
My responsibilities. include the following: teaching, counseling, scheduling, BHT Lead, Transition Coordinator, Instructional Coach, Grade Level Lead, Case Manager, teaching incarcerated youth, writing safety plans, developing Reach Math Exams, LSC Member, and running summer programs. I believe in utilizing data to drive my work and to measure my progress. Along with this I also work well with community partners to provide students internships and employment.
