My experience working with the immigrant community for more than thirteen years have been rewarding and fulfilling, and at this time I would like to join the Bard College Community to continue sharing my knowledge and assisting immigrants in need. I have worked with immigrants and specifically with immigrant children and adolescents since 2003. While I was employed at El Centro Hispanoamericano I represented and assisted hundreds of immigrant children with their Special Immigrant Juvenile Petitions and with their entire immigration process in my capacity of DOJ (Department of Justice) Accredited Representative.
Through my professional career I have worked on various challenging cases involving immigrant children. And I have been able to obtain successful results in those cases. I have a wealth of immigration law knowledge and resources that could benefit your funded program.
In addition, at my present job I have accessed the needs of the immigrant community that we serve I have connected them with the appropriate resources including obtaining legal representation in the Immigration Court. Besides my resume I have also attached 3 references that are very familiar with my professional work and performance.
