My name is Rosena Rosie Dessin, and I’m proud to share a bit about my journey and experience in the field of security and public service. With a background in criminal justice and a focus on law and immigration, I’ve built my career around protecting people, supporting communities, and maintaining safe, respectful environments.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in law and immigration, and I’m currently pursuing a master’s in law. I also assist individuals as an immigration form preparer, work that has deepened my understanding of legal processes and the importance of advocacy. My professional experience includes serving as a cadet with the NYC Department of Correction and supervising teams at Arrow Security.
These roles have given me a solid foundation in emergency response, leadership, and team coordination, especially in fast-paced, high-traffic environments.
I’m certified in CPR/AED and Mental Health First Aid and hold a New York State Guard Certificate. I’m also highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and I take pride in my ability to communicate clearly, lead effectively, and respond thoughtfully in high-pressure situations. At my core, I care about people.
Whether it’s through supervising a team, helping someone through the immigration process, or responding to an emergency, I’m committed to showing up with professionalism, compassion, and resilience. I’m always looking to grow, learn, and contribute wherever I can.
