Caroline Corrigan

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and a certified alcohol and drug counselor. I specialize in helping those whose primary goal is to overcome life obstacles, recover from mental health issues, dual diagnosis and have the willingness to do so.

I help my patients by providing trauma-informed evidence based practice that is often eclectic in nature and specific to the individual needs. This incorporates a diverse approach including psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and enhancement therapy, EMDR, solution-focused, polyvagal and replacement therapy.

• Functions as a licensed independent clinical social worker and substance use/addictions counselor for mandated and non-mandated clients. Provides ongoing screening/assessments and reassessments for assigned individuals related to substance use/addictions issues, addiction risk, addiction risks, mood disorders and Axis II diagnosis.
• Provides trauma-informed, person-centered interventions to appropriate clientele.
• Participates in inter-disciplinary patient case conferences; evaluates effectiveness of established plan of care.
• Responsible to ensure timely documentation of person served progress and to ensure compliance with existing social work code of ethics.
• Provides culturally and linguistically competent services that are also sensitive and responsive to religious practices, sexual orientation, gender differences, physical disabilities, as well as services that are age and developmentally appropriate, including young adults and elders.
