I am an optimistic, energetic professional seeking a career in Emergency and Disaster Management. I retired from the US Marine Corps in 2023 and have been pursuing a Master's of Science in EDM from Thomas Jefferson University.
In the Marines, I was a helicopter pilot and operational planner, as well as an Information Warfare specialist. I was involved in planning a wide variety of operations, writing doctrine and plans, and conducting fast-paced, dynamic operations relying on world-wide resources and capabilities. I relied on building relationships, creative problem solving, and adaptability in uncertain and chaotic environments.
I am looking for my next career, using my strong educational background and operational experience to the field of Emergency and Disaster Management: I want to be at the point of friction, managing the best team in the worst scenarios, and making the world a better, more resilient place.

Included working with international partners, both military and civilian in executing everything from combat operations to humanitarian relief. Managed air operations for the entire Marine Corps Pacific theater, across 7000 miles of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and four continents.
Planned and managed the Air Combat Command Center as Senior Watch Officer, supervising ongoing operations in major training exercises.
US Marine Corps Information Warfare Specialist (2013-2017): planned and executed information operations as liaison to the US Naval European/African Command, covering the Mediterranian, European, and African areas.
