Military Veteran with an active secret government security clearance and 5 years of proven experience as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation structure/hydraulic mechanic, and low observable technician on the F-35B. 2 and a half years of experience in Northrop Grumman’s Defense Sector as a Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Upgrade (MROU) Level 3 Mechanic, and Site Quality Assurance Lead. Has both led and served on effectual teams of maintenance personnel in adverse operational environments. Allowing said teams to achieve measurable results shown through mission readiness standards, sortie completion rates, on time deliveries to the customer, and favorable government inspection outcomes. In producing these measurable results, I was able to achieve a unique and comprehensive knowledge base of both DoD and civilian aerospace regulations. I do not currently hold an A&P certification but will be pursuing one at the University of Maine at Augusta. My hopes are that I would be able to find a job that would allow me to stay in the aviation industry while also refining my skills as I complete my formal education. I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge in the industry that is aviation maintenance and am extremely grateful for any chance to do so.
