My name is Charbel Salamoun and I would love to be the next school counselor for your school community.
Bringing a sense of curiosity, engagement and honesty about emotional well being and growth is my passion. Growth comes best from being honest, truly honest, especially when change is the only option. As a school counselor, my approach is for students to become inner-directed as a way to foster healthy social, emotional and academic patterns. My strength is to use evidence based practices while gathering data that ultimately deliver an effective treatment plan to support student well-being.
My approach is for students,“ to be curious “ and see counseling as less of a “ I made a mistake “ but rather a process to become more self-loving and accepting of ourselves in our development years. I take comfort in being a counselor, mentor and friend in a school community.

I have over ten years of experience working as a school counselor. I have worked in Mexico, Kuwait, Jordan and in the United States. I have worked in the MYP/IB, Advanced Placement school based curriculums.
My strength is to support student in reducing stress and anxiety. My passion is support students in becoming a good friend and a positive member of the community. My goal is to encourage students to be become heart centered while also inspiring them to take a greater responsibility in their lives.
