Charlotte Newman

Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am a 19-year-old from New Zealand. I have just recently relocated to Santa Monica, after graduating from high school, and am looking for a temporary position with full-time hours. I am a diligent worker with great time management, and I always walk into work with a smile.

I am a fast learner and have great experience in fast-paced workplaces. I have 4 years of experience working as a receptionist and office administrator, while also having leadership experience as a duty manager. I am proficient in customer support, and I am a fast learner with anything tech-related; Especially when using new software.

I love working with others and can get along with anyone! I am a bright and bubbly person who gets jobs done fast and to a high standard; I believe I would be a wonderful addition to your team.

I have been 'officially' employed since 2020 (at the age of 16), working at Paradice Ice Skating and later at Independent Lake Camp; However, I have had previous work experience as a babysitter, and working a wide range of smaller tasks as a teen. I have worked as a receptionist, cafe server, duty manager, and as of late a camp counselor/fine arts teacher. I am confident as a customer service representative and am mainly looking for reception-based work.

I have an all-encompassing skill set, thanks to the wide array of positions I have been employed for, and I hope to further hone my skills within a new environment.

In 2022 I graduated from high school with a level 3 merit endorsement. In the previous 2 years, I gained excellence endorsement. I studied statistics, English, Japanese, design and visual communication, and biology.

I multi-leveled in years 11-12 and completed my level 2 biology course in level 1(year 11), giving me a year to complete my level 2 physics course in level 2 (year 12). For leadership in school, I was a house captain, art/leadership council chairman, and a candidate for head student. I worked hard in school and maintained my grades while working the majority of my spare time working at my part-time job.
