Christopher L. Ervin, a Charlotte, NC native, is a multifaceted talent in the gospel music industry—serving as a singer, songwriter, vocal instructor, and producer. A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in music, he directed the award-winning Fellowship Gospel Choir and earned accolades including the prestigious Bill Cosby scholarship. Further honing his craft at Berklee College of Music, Ervin deepened his expertise in voice technique and musicianship.
He is the visionary leader of the Stellar Award-nominated choir Abraham's Descendants, whose albums The Process, Take 2, and Recover earned national acclaim and chart success, including top 3 on iTunes’ Gospel chart.
Since 2014, Ervin has contributed his vocal talents alongside gospel legends such as Pastor John P. Kee and Dr. Ricky Dillard, as well as mainstream artists like Michael McDonald and Nick Jonas.
As CEO and lead instructor of Maestro Cervin, Ervin also mentors vocalists and choir directors through personalized coaching and worship clinics. His unwavering dedication, passion for education, and powerful artistry continue to make a lasting impact in gospel music and beyond.
