For me, the heart of the creative process lies in answering the question of "how" to express the "why" most effectively and meaningfully. I find joy in immersing myself in each project's period, setting, style, or aesthetic, establishing a foundation for storytelling through costume. It's the process itself that excites me, offering endless opportunities for exploration and discovery, ultimately bringing the story to life in ways that resonate with audiences.
Known for my collaborative nature and keen attention to detail, I've earned the affectionate nickname "nosy designer.", I thrive on the interplay between my director's vision and the contributions of my fellow designers, always searching for the throughline that connects our work and serves the narrative.
I’m at my best when being resourceful, hands-on, and problem-solving! There's joy in the treasure hunt, whether scouring fabric stores, malls, thrift stores, or even an actor's closet, seeking the perfect clothing item. Each discovery adds depth and authenticity to a character, expressing something unique about them or a pivotal moment in the story.
Drawing from over a decade in film/TV, live performance, and special events, I excel in contemporary film design, with notable contributions to Amazon Prime’s, “Fallout” and Searchlight’s, “The Menu”. As a skilled costume designer, I bring a confident approach, consistently breathing life into every project's creative vision.
