I've spent most of my career working with criminal justice information from both sides of the screen. I started as a sworn peace officer, moved into building and supporting the CAD, RMS, jail management, and warrants software that agencies run on, and later served as the Agency Information Security Officer and CJIS Local Agency Security Officer (LASO) for a 700-person sheriff's office. There I enforced FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements, including advanced authentication and FIPS-validated encryption, and audited the federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies in the county.

On the integration side, I've built interfaces between CAD, RMS, jail management, and HR systems, developed CAD integrations with external systems as an implementer at Hexagon, and run ETL conversions that moved sensitive criminal, medical, and personnel records onto new platforms. I have 12+ years of professional SQL experience, and most recently I've been consulting independently, building API data flows and directory federation between public safety agency systems and a cloud video intelligence platform.
