My associate degree provided me with comprehensive knowledge in medical terminology, coding systems like ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS, and the principles of health data management. I am proficient in using various Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and have a solid understanding of regulatory compliance, including HIPAA. My training also included data analysis, quality assurance, and performance improvement, ensuring that I can manage patient health records accurately and securely.
