Certified In Home Caregiver with over 10 years experience. CPR Certified, First Aide Certified, and AED Certified. I also have many trainings in specific body ailments such as Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, Diabetic, and Healthy Nutrition just to name a few more. My last client I had was on and off Hospice for 3 and ½ years. I can get references upon requests. I enjoy working with the disabled, elderly, and the frail and old.
I can Provide transportation to / from any appointments, example doctors, dentist, or eye appointment. I can assist with showers or sponge bath care for those who are bed bound. I provide assistance with medications dispensing and filling medication boxes.
Call in prescriptions, to the Pharmacy or Doctors office. I will provide vital signs, light house duties and meal preparation. If the clients needs physical therapy or occupational therapy I can assist with their exercises Or provide transportation.
I will keep the client actively moving and can interact with puzzles, or activities to enhance memory or physically active.
I have well over ten years experience and I truly love my career of choice I chose. I am currently looking for a job as my last client of 3 and a half years was on hospice and has passed. My clients son is willing to talk to anyone that would like a reference. Tom my clients son works at the Lebanon police department so therefore I have a clean record.
Some trainings I have had in addition to the ones I listed earlier include. How to transfer clients safely, hospice and palliative care, cardiovascular. Urinary tract infection, reporting and documenting clients status and care. I feel it’s very important to communicate to the family of any physical changes or mentally. Therefore I keep a daily log in a notebook that stays at the clients home so the family member in charge of the client can read what I summarized for each day.
