Just another student eager to make a contribution. I am currently an international student studying at UCA, majoring in International Studies and minoring in Gender studies. I am passionate about topics concerning human rights, international relations, and mental health, thus why I seek to one day work at an International Organization where I can hope to inspire change.
In terms of experience, I've volunteered on campus as a team leader for our international department's global welcome week orientation, I've partaken in service learning in class where I assisted in writing a proposal for a grant that sought to tackle food insecurity on campus, and as of recently, I've been working at the Center for Global Learning and Engagement office at my campus as a student worker where I engage in multiple tasks from interacting with students, staff, and parents at the front desk, to helping out with projects around the office.
I am well-versed in social media, have adequate computer skills, and am excellent at communicating and collaborating but can also take on solo projects confidently. What I lack in experience, I make up for my ability to learn and pick things up quickly. And most of all, I am hardworking and willing to dedicate myself entirely to a company or cause if it is demanded of me.
As it stands, I am seeking an internship position or a full-time job in the areas of international studies, diplomacy, and issues(ex: gender equality, human rights, global poverty, etc) for the summer of 2023 period. I am looking forward to hearing from potentially interested employees.
