For nearly 20 years, I’ve helped businesses develop and advance their brand identity in markets large and small, local and national. From crafting unique copy that makes you stand out from the crowd to optimizing go-to-market content strategies driven by data, I’ve utilized my skill set to bring measurable results for the brands in my care. It’s my goal to find a team and a company that will put these well-developed skills to use in ways that will ensure readiness for the brand marketing challenges of the future.
I started my journey as a copywriter working freelance in my hometown of Houston, TX. I developed my chops working with local businesses and arts organizations, crafting content for websites, direct marketing campaigns, and social media accounts for my growing and diverse retail client base. From this beginning, I was hired to work in agency settings, which provided the opportunity to take on a wider range of clients across industries that included oil & gas, energy, real estate, fine arts, healthcare, and more.
In 2020, I pivoted to an in-house role with a Fortune 500 company. At this company, I was put in charge of five retail electricity brands, working with and later leading a team of creatives to develop and execute all communications with current and future customers. I personally oversaw the development of several national advertising campaigns each year, including the development and testing of a cartoon brand ambassador that starred in national commercial campaigns.
In 2024, I relocated to California in search of my next challenge. I want to find a dynamic company with a strong foundation that I can fit into and help grow. I want to create solutions at the granular level that will serve the bigger picture envisioned by stakeholders.
