Dan is the VP of Sales & Marketing at Scalable Robotics and has a 20+ year background in manufacturing and technical sales & marketing. Dan has been the owner of Wrisley Abrasives since 2004, a niche small business providing high performance diamond and CBN tools to industries including Aerospace, Defense, Glass, Crystal, Medical, Bearing, and Technical Ceramics.
Prior to taking ownership of Wrisley Abrasives, Dan worked as a Production Engineer and Sales Engineer at Amphenol TCS (formally Teradyne Connection Systems). As a Production Engineer, Dan was responsible for both the facility development and manufacturing process to produce high-end Internet core routers and switches. Sustaining production at this facility exceeded $40M, annually. As a Sales Engineer, Dan managed Amphenol TCS’ largest account at the time, Cisco Systems – contributing more than $100M in annual gross revenue. For two years, Dan coordinated Design Engineers, Supply-base Engineers, Senior Executives, and factory workers to help bring Cisco Systems’ new products to market.
Dan is an active board member of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA) at the University of Hartford as well as a member of the American Precision Optical Manufacturers Association (APOMA).
Dan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Maine in 1999.
