Hired by PG&E to safely locate and mark underground gas, electric, and fiber facilities owned by PG&E. Over the Past 2 years, there has been adversity but those adversities have taught me to be even more responsible and have learned to work under pressure and with others as a team. During my time in the company, I have made many improvements as a damage prevention specialist such as being as thorough as possible when reading maps, reading the footages on PG&E As-Builts, exact diameter of the facility to properly label them, and following procedure when using locating instruments to get the best possible signal and place marks to ensure safety of the excavator and public.

This experience on my own really allowed me to experience what it was to create something from scratch and taught me how to appreciate the process, from the preparatory work all the way until the finishing touch.
